RAOUL's latest collection has
yet again inspires us fashionistas! These latest fashion pieces from the brand
is not only chic and modern but also wearable without going over the top with
multi-layers of the latest fashion trends.
The bow-neck blouse, a brand
staple, has evolved into a collar-less inverted-pleat blouse with a separate
neck scarf that can be tied or worn as a short bow. The tie-neck blouse, in
tweed- print georgette, slips effortlessly through slip knot under a matching
tweed jacket or coat.
There is a predominant use of
black and white (our Porcelain) throughout this collection. Black and white
"intersect" each other as a small or over-sized Houndstooth check and
to even greater effect when worn with color block lurex knits.
Although inspired by a desert
modernist such as Frey, whose wild and rocky landscapes crossed the threshold
of his glass houses; this collection has been filtered through an urban lens,
where timeless backdrops such as concrete, porcelain and pumice intersect with
Fresco blue and Formica green.
