This image is from a series that were taken to calibrate the
34-millimetre Mast Camera on the Curiosity rover and looks south-southwest from
the rover's landing site at the base of Mount Sharp. The 34mm Mastcam takes
images with lower resolution, but a much wider field of view than the 100mm
Mastcam.
